Melodic Swedish punk that verges on hardcore at times – they are clearly influenced by early BEASTIE BOYS and have that same aggressive yet fun approach. What is it about Swedish punk rock that just hits the nail on the head every fucking time?? They just have it…as soon as I hear a band is from Sweden I know it’s gonna rule and PRETTY WHORES are no exception to that – well written, well played and original too, and most importantly fun. Remember fun? These guys just come across as absolutely 100% genuine, these guys are not concerned with posing about and you can tell from the front cover – that funnily enough looks like a BEASTIE BOYS cover but from the time when they’d made their hip-hop transition. Definitely recommended.
